Post your views on episode 10 at Tyneham village

History below.

Tyneham " ghost " village has been deserted for over 60 years, since the second world war.
It was a countryside village, it had its own school, church, post office, farms, cottages, and even a big mansion, which was then called the great house.

Just before christmas 1943, villagers were told they must leave there homes temporarily.
by the military as the village was near the firing range where the miliary needed more land to train it's soldiers.

The villagers wrote a note on the church door. The note reads:

" Please treat the church and houses with care. We have given up our homes where many of us have lived for generations to help win the war to keep men free. We shall return one day, and thank you for treating the village kindly"

The residents were never able to return to their homes as the village to this day is still deserted, and is still ministry of defence land. The village now lies in ruins, but it is said the village is haunted by it's past unhappy residents.

Will we make contact with these residents that supposedly haunt this village?

ive been there quite a few times over the years its quite an eerie place and it just feels really sad there especially the school when u look thru the windows and everythings as it was left.

Tyneham was the saddest investigation to date, and we could only imagine what the people at the time must of felt being basically kicked out the homes they loved. It was very hard not to show the emotions we felt. We're not surprised that Tyneham is haunted by the past residents going back to the place they loved and it also has a very friendly strong family history.

Why the voices sound all so tinny?
It sounds scary, I must say.
But interesting

Hello, Ghostleygirl. We always try and talk quite quietly because we're always listening out for any odd noises or any signs of activity. When we ask questions, what people don't see is our continuous observation. As theres only two us we both have to be very aware, which is why we never talk too loud. Sometimes we increase the volume on our video editor LOL.
